Some fall pictures

I took a bunch of pictures of the girls in the leaves and I am going to share a bunch here. I was trying to get them in better order on here but am having a hard time. There are some from our house, either on the side of the house or in front. And the rest are at my mothers house. There are a few beautiful leave pictures.

Here is Brooke in the leaves at my moms house

This is the road next door to my mothers house.

Another one from that road.

This is a little cut off for some reason but there are the girls. This is the wooded
area in our side yard. Skye would NOT sit still for nothing! It was pure
craziness!

Skye's shoe...she was sitting in her swing while I took this.

Skye playing with a stick in the back yard. She is such a nut.
She had the best time just playing with the stick.

We went to my mothers house that afternoon and I took
a bunch of pictures there of the girls in the leaves. There is a beautiful
side road down from their house that is all canvased with leaves. BEAUTIFUL!

Past Practice With the Girls

This is Skye (9-26-06) with her FAVORITE DUCK!
Tim got me this duck at the hospital while I was in
labor with her. LOL She was around 7-8 months and totally
just took to this duck. She sleeps with it every night and
she will even carry it around the house if you let her.
I also have this same pic below in color. I LOVE
this sweater. =o)

Here is Skye trying to lick a leaf. LOL I took her outside
so that I could get some practice in. I didn't think I got
any good shots but this one really came out nice. It was alittle
dark but I was able to save it with my photo program. PHEW!

This is Brooke (9-21-06) out in the front yard. She wasn't
wanting to cooperate with me. She just sort of hung her head here
and was like "ok....take my picture already" LOL She didn't say
it but that is totally how she looked. She is my only gineua pig that I
can get to sit still while I shoot. LOL This pic is slight out of focus in
the shirt but I love this in B&W. I have it in color but you can really
seen the out of focus there. BLAH

This is the colored duck picture above. =o)

What a face huh? (8-22-06) This really brings out
the real Brooke I LOVE IT!!

Just a few beginnings.

I would live to start using this blog as a photo blog for my pictures that our "worth" posting. This was I have them in one spot and I hopefully I can look back through them at some point and see my progress. =o)

This picture was taken before Brooke's first day of school. 9-5-06
We were hanging around outside waiting for the bus to come.

Here is Skye (9-21-06) smelling a flower.
I had her out side to play and so I could get some
practice in with my camera.
This is Brooke at Fort Rickey (8-16-06), Tim and I took her
there for her birthday. We were under a pavillion eating lunch
and I took the opportunity of her sitting still to get a few
pracitce shots in. LOL

Girl Scouts!!

Tonight Tim and I took Brooke down and registered her in Girl Scouts! She will be starting out as a "Dasiy"....isn't that sweet! I was real worried about it at first but I really think it is going to be a great thing. Most of the other girls (which there aren't many), Brooke already knows. The two mothers who are running it are going to be great. I am really excited about this and so is Brooke. I can't wait to see how it goes, and for Brooke to start earning petals for her daisy. =o)

Brooke's Officially a kindergartner!

Well Brooke's first day went much better than I expected, well once the bus left anyway. hahaha! I was a wreck before the bus came to get her. The thought of her getting on that bus, and just leaving broke my heart. She was a little trooper though...she actually got on the bus and I had to yell for her to stop. I was like "whoa Brooke....can I atleast have a hug". hahahaha! She really was so excited though. That morning she was up at 3am asking Tim if it was time to get ready for school yet! The crazy nut! All in all though the day went well. I sat home anxiously waiting for her to get home to hear all about it. The bus pulled up about 3:30 and the bus driver says "There's your mommy"...it was so sweet. She came running up the side walk and I met her 1/2 way, she was so excited. She talked for 45 minutes straight and barely stoped to take a breath. LOL There are only 10 kids in her class which I didn't believe at first, but it's the truth. She finished up the rest of her week, and by Friday she said she was ready for the weekend. Hopefully things will contunue to go as smoothly.
Here is Brooke the morning before she got on the bus.

As for Skye....she is doing really well with this whole transition. She really doesn't seem to mind that she is gone during the day. I originally thought that she was going to be lost with out her, she is never really without Brooke. But it has been really nice....not to mention quieter. =o) Skye can just play with whatever she wants and doesn't have to worry about sharing. hahaha! Naptime has become such a wonderful time of day too....the peace and quiet is something I almost forgot exsisted. =o) It makes for a nice break.
