It's the beginning of a new week! The weekend flew by...of course, as it always does. We got quite a bit done around the house, and some out side stuff too. Tim put up my clothes line on Saturday afternoon and I was pretty excited about that. LOL I have never had one and I just LOVE the smell of fresh laundry. I washed all of our sheets and was able to get them all dry. The wind played a major part in that. It was REALLY windy Saturday. Sunday we thought it was supposed to be rainy but it ended up being a really nice day. The kids played outside ALOT, I got a TON of laundry done and the house cleaned. We really haven't done anything that exciting lately. So I don't have a whole lot to talk about. LOL I'm feeling crappy right now too so that doesn't help. I had a migraine yesterday and today it is back again. :( I took some medication a bit ago so hopefully that helps. In the mean time here are some LO's that I have gotten done over the last week. :) You can see the credits here. Thanks for looking

I LOVE these pictures of Tim and the girls. I never bothered
to try them in B&W until I made this LO and I am in love
all over again. LOL

You would make an excellent entrepreneur, politician, or journalist.

How you see yourself: compassionate, unselfish, and understanding

When other people don't get you, they see you as: gushy, emotional, and unfocused

It is Friday and boy am I GLAD that it is Friday. It has been a long crazy week of work and it is only going to be worse next week. There is so much I want to get done here and I am starting to feel a bit overwhelmed. I have so much laundry to do and I just don't want to do it. LOL We have a wedding we are supposed to go to tomorrow and I just want to stay home and clean and do laundry. I'm just tired of going, going, going and want to stay home. When did I become such a home body? Some body.....any body....can you answer that one for me? LMAO I have some LO's to share but I will post some tomorrow. I'm getting ready to go relax for a bit and then to bed. :) Saturday is the day for the new releases to come out at SSD and I can't wait. *giggle* It has quickly become my new obsession. I really look forward to Saturday morning to see what beautiful goodies are in the shop. :)

Stomach bugs....ugh and other babble LOL

So there is this crazy stomach bug going through our house and fortunately (knocking on wood here. LOL) I haven't gotten it. Brooke started with it and it has been almost a week. It is weird and I will save you the read of the details but the kids don't act sick and then WHAM it comes out of no where. Brooke has handled it like a little trooper (she usually does) and poor Skye hasn't know what to do. And I don't know how but Skye hasn't thrown up from this bug at all. The poor thing has been potty trained for several months now and she has been so upset to have to wear a pull up in case of an "accident". I am praying that the girls are feeling better soon. *fingers crossed*

This past weekend Tim had his race banquet and that was nice. His parents had the girls over night and it was so wonderful not to have to be in a huge rush to get home afterward. We came home and it was soooo beautiful outside that we were able to sit out on the porch and relax. It was so nice to do that, it felt great. Sunday morning Tim got up before I did and he woke me up with breakfast in bed. :) That was so sweet of him....and he didn't it for no reason at all. LOL It wasn't a holiday or anything! LOL

While Tim went to get the girls from his parents house I got going on some house work. I finished organizing the girls bedroom and play room and got rid of a bunch of toys that they don't play with anymore. I am REALLY having a tough time with getting rid of all the "baby" type things. There is ALOT that I just can't bring myself to pack away. :( Tim and I aren't having any more children and I'm ok with that but it is still alittle sad for me. I won't get into all that now though. LOL

On to some scrapping stuff. YIPPEE!!!! DreamScrapper has a new kit out called "Prairie Sunset" and the colors in this kit are just gorgeous!! Here is a preview
Purple is my favorite color....next to black. LOL And the colors compliment each other so well. Here is a LO I finished this morning with it.

I have gotten several LO's done over the past few days and 3 just since this morning!! I have been up since 4:30. Skye was up because of her stomach and once I got her back in bed I just decided to stay up so I could organize the pics on my computer and do some scraping. You can find the credits for all the following LO's HERE. Thanks so much for looking. :)

From our Blog to Yours

This week I am participating in Sweet Shoppe Designs "From our Blogs to Yours" challenge. And this week you have to pick just ONE favorite kit from the shop. *sigh* Do you know how hard that is? LOL I really can't pick JUST one....but I will post just one and say this is one of my top favs. LOL It's called "Emma's Garden" by Scrap Kitchen Designs. It is a newer kit and I just LOOOVE it. Butterflies are by absolute FAVORITE, and it has my favorite colors. The fence element is so neat too. Just take a peak...it's beautiful! :)

Brooke has been on spring vacation this past week from school, the weather has been beautiful and haven't gotten to enjoy much of it. Today is Friday....wohoo!!!! I have 3 more hours of work and I can't wait to get home. I started coming down with some sort of a cold yesterday. My throat is sore, the glands on the side of my neck are sore (this happens almost every time I'm sick), my chest feels congested and my head feels kinf of congested. How nice to be feeling so shitty when it is so beautiful outside. BLAH! Hopefully tomorrow we'll have some nice weather that I can enjoy. Tomorrow night is Tim's race banquet and I am looking forward to having a night out with my husband. Tim's parents are taking the girls over night so we won't have to rush home to get them. I just hope that I feel better.

I'm at work (on lunch) so I can't post any LO's from here but I have gotten a few done through this week and I am antsy to play some more this weekend. The new releases come out tomorrow at Sweet Shoppe Designs and I am anxiously awaiting that. Lindsay Jane also has a new birthday kit out that she released a week or two ago and it is amazing! and HUGE! I have been saving my pics from Skye's bday for that kit. Hopefully I can get some of that done this weekend or next. I have so much that I want to do. Tracy Ann of TADA released her Lucky Dips this week and I am telling ya, you have to check it out. She has completely out done herself with this one. I am a HUGE fan of hers and I absolutely adore her style. She has a style all her own and I am completley addicted to her things. *giggle* I swear I own more than half her store....and that isn't even an exageration. I haven't even come close to playing with all the designs I have of hers. It is just a need.....an addiction to have them. LOL

Ok I have to get back to work now. :D Thanks for looking

Spring Vacation for Brooke and lots of updates

Brooke is on spring vacation this week. *sigh* It is just after 9:30 in the morning and I am already ready to pull my hair out. LMAO The girls have been up since about 6:20 (not a normal thing) and they have been fighting, and arguing and Skye has been whinning half the morning. Oy!! This is just crazy. The worst part, is that they have been like this for the past 2 days and that is why I am loosing it so quickly this morning. Yesterday we got Skye a "big girl" bed from Tim's parents house and now the girls want to share a room. Yea....I'm not so sure that is such a good idea with how much they have been fighting. If we put them both into one room (they will be in Skye's room), then Brooke's room will be turned into the "play" room. I would really love to give it a shot though. I think it could be a good thing. I am just worried about how night time is going to be and if they are going to be up playing half the night. With it being Spring vacation I figured now is the best time to do it though. Hopefully the "newness" of it all will ware off by next week when Brooke has to go back to school and she NEEDS her sleep. Wish us luck. LOL

Like I said we got Skye her big girl bed yesterday...she hasn't been sleeping well in her toddler bed and hopefully this bed will solve that problem. I HOPE! She picked out new sheets for her bed...and she picked Dora. I was trying sooo hard to get her to pick "Tinker Bell" ones but that didn't work. LOL

I have to work Tues-Friday of this week which is ok I guess. I hate having to pay for daycare because it eats up so much of your paycheck. I'm sure there are others that feel the same way....it sucks! It figures though, that this week the weather looks like it is supposed to be beautiful and I have to work through all of it. *rolleyes* Well I do have half day on Wednesday so that is good. :)

I have gotten alot of scrapping done over the past few days. I have been hitting alot of the challenges over to SSD and I have loved every second of it. Lately I have just felt blah about scrapping....like I could get things flowing to start a page. So the challenges have been a HUGE help for me. I've gotten some pictures scraped that I have been wanting to and just didn't know where to start or go with them.

Credits for my LO's can be found HERE. Thank you for looking :)

The picture below is Skye with my grandfather, and I
LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture.

The pictures in the following LO are of yours truly when I was
about a year and a half. LOL

The following LO I did using Tropical Punch by Amanda Kay
for the Sunshine Girls CT. What fun colors in this kit.

DreamScrapper has a new kit out called "Shabby Spring"
Pink is one of my favorite colors and it was just perfect for this pic of Brooke.
And yes she is wearing her dress-up dress outside. This was taken
just last weekend. LOL

We're having a birthday Party!!!

Today is my youngest daughter Skye's 3rd birthday. I say it every year and at both of the girls birthday and I just can't help it but I don't know how it has happened this quickly. *sigh* Just 3 years ago at 3:02 in the afternoon my little princess was born. What an exciting day that was. I was 3 weeks early from my due date and so relieved to of made it that far. With the problems that I had with Brooke (pre-eclampsia) I was so scared of it all happening all over again. Brooke was born 4 weeks early and spent 9 days in the NICU. But fortunatley other than that she was completely healthy. Things went beautifully with Skye and I couldn't of asked for a better birth experience. It was a gorgeous day the day we were released from the hospital and I couldn't wait to get her home, to OUR home and snuggle with her. I was also alittle anxious as to how Brooke was going to do with it all but she was fantastic and she still is.

Anywho...yesterday we had my dad and his girlfriend and also my mother up for lunch and Cake (Cup Cakes) and Ice Cream. Skye was soooo excited to have everyone there and she LOVED opening her b-day gifts. It was really cute. I'll share of few pictures of her. Tonight my inlaws, my sister in law, and nephew are coming over for cake and ice cream. Skye has been asking since 7:30 this morning when everyone is getting here. LOL She got up at 3:30 and crawled in bed with me and then was back up at 6 for good. I barely slept from 3:30 until I got up at 6:30. Oy!!! This girl exhausts me. LOL Oh and I forgot this part....yesterday if anyone asked Skye how old she was, she would tell you 16. LMAO A few times she would say 3...but most of the time it was 16. LOL Crazy kit. LOL

I have got a few LO's done in the past week but not as much as I would have liked. It seems like I have had hardly anytime to do it lately. Work was NUTS last week. So I'll post a few pics and LO's. You can find the credits for the following LO's HERE.

Here are a few pictures of Skye yesterday while my family was here
visiting. I'll post a few from today, in the next few days.

She was so excited when she saw this card
(above)

(below) This dress and shoes...from my dad. :)

Below...she was outside helping daddy picking up sticks.
It was a BEAUTIFUL day!

Wow I have been a busy girl. :) I have both been busy with life stuff (work, the kids, house stuff) and digi stuff. It feels good but sometimes there just isn't enough hours in a day. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way right? :) Our snow is starting to FINALLY go away. I didn't think it was ever going to happen but just yesterday we lost a TON of snow. I can actually see grass, it's brown but it's grass. LOL We were in the hihg 50's or 60's yesterday and it felt GREAT! The girls are both doing good. Brooke lost ANOTHER tooth! She now is missing her two bottom front teeth. She looks too cute and she is sooo proud of her missing teeth. She pulled out her other tooth at home the other night while I was grocery shopping. LOL I wish I was here but at least I was for her first one. I can't wait to do scrap page about her missing teeth.

I have gotten some LO's done both using CT stuff and some other things.
I did this LO for the challenge (last week) on the Sunshine Studio Scraps blog. What a great challenge, and it was great for me to FINALLY do a page about myself. I need to do some more often. The frame cluster is by Nancy Comelab and the rest is all bits and pieces (including the paper) by Tracy Ann Robinson (of Tada). The fonts are both by Darcy Baldwin.

Web Designz by Kristi has a new kit out this week and I love it! It's called
"Welcome to the Jungle" and this is such a great kit. I LOVE the elements with
this kit. The bamboo frames are absolutely amazing! You have to see them
for yourself. The detail in them is perfect. :) Yes I may be alittle bias because I
am on her CT BUT...this kit is really cute! Here are a few LO's I did with it.

Here are some quick pages that I made for Kristi too, they are available in her store. :)

I have to go get ready for work. Hopefully I can get some more LO's done soon. :) Hope you all have a great day and thanks for reading.
